4. Third-Party AI Service — Data Sharing Disclosure

To generate your horoscopes, birth chart interpretations, compatibility readings and AI chat responses, the App sends certain data to a third-party AI service. Below we describe exactly what data is shared, with whom, and for what purpose:

4.1 What Data Is Sent

  • Astrological profile: Your name, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth, used to compute your chart and tailor your readings.
  • Reading preferences: Your selected reading style (horoscope, birth chart, compatibility) and focus areas, so the AI can tailor its response.
  • Chat messages: Questions and follow-ups you send to the in-app AI astrologer.
  • Compatibility inputs: The zodiac sign or birth data you compare yours with.

No other personal data (such as your email, precise device location, contacts, or device identifiers) is sent to the third-party AI service.

4.2 Who the Data Is Sent To

The data above is sent to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) for processing via their API. OpenAI processes this data solely to generate the astrological readings and chat responses returned to you within the App. You can review OpenAI's privacy practices at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.

4.3 Purpose of Sharing

Data is shared exclusively to perform the astrological analysis you request — including daily horoscopes, full birth chart interpretations, zodiac compatibility comparisons, and AI chat conversations about your readings. The AI service does not use your data for advertising or any purpose unrelated to providing results within Astrology AI.

4.4 User Consent

Before your astrological data is sent to the third-party AI service for the first time, the App will request your explicit permission. You may decline, in which case no data will be transmitted to the AI service and the AI-powered features will not be available. You can revoke this consent at any time in the App's settings.

4.5 Data Protection by Third Party

We require that any third-party AI service provider we work with provides a level of data protection that is equal to or exceeds the protections described in this Privacy Policy. Data sent via the API is transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections and is not used by OpenAI to train or improve their models.

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All data transmissions, including astrological profile data and chat messages sent for AI analysis, are encrypted using TLS. Your readings and chat history are stored only as needed to deliver the service, and you can delete them at any time from within the App.

6. Additional Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Beyond the third-party AI service described in Section 4, we may share information with:

  • Analytics partners: Anonymized, aggregated usage data only (e.g., number of readings generated, feature popularity). No astrological profile data, chat content or personal identifiers are shared.
  • Infrastructure providers: Cloud hosting and storage services that process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
  • Law enforcement: Only when required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Request deletion of your data (including birth data, saved readings, chat history and account information)
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent for AI data processing at any time

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
